ORGAN MANAGEMENT IN EUROPE SINCE 1990 • CD- AND DVD-LABEL

Program

Improvisation course, July 15 – 22 (Emmanuel Le Divellec and Tobias Willi):

2 class lessons and one individual lesson per day for each participant; several hours of daily personal practice necessary (practice organs available). The course is open for all levels.

Interpretation course: «Autour» de Jehan Alain, July 22 – 29:

This course will be divided in three sessions of two and a half days each. A round-table transition from one session to the next will be made, allowing a fascinating artistic dialogue between the two involved professors and the participants.

July 23 – 25: Ludger Lohmann, Stuttgart: Jehan Alain, J.S. Bach and German Romanticism

July 25 – 27 : Eric Lebrun, Paris: Jehan Alain and 19th / 20th century French music

July 27 – 29: Guy Bovet, Neuchâtel: Jehan Alain and French / Italian / Spanish Baroque

Detailed repertory lists for the three sessions can be found on the website of the course. The lessons are given in various languages, as needed. English, German and French are standard.

July 25 & 26: Practical course for church organists, catholic and reformed (Michel Jordan & Guy Bovet):

Harmonisation, accompaniment, simple liturgical improvisation and liturgical repertory.

It is possible to combine all the courses except the one by Eric Lebrun and the practical course for church organists.

For personal practice, many smaller study organs are available in the surrounding villages. All possible standards of accommodation – hotels, B&B, common residence. Concerts and common meals during the courses.
